BDO Cayman Islands raised CI$15,000 for local charity Cayman ARK during its 2026 Annual Pickleball Invitational Championship on 6 Feb at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club.
More than 200 professionals from across the Cayman Islands financial services industry attended the one-day tournament, now in its fourth year. Nearly 40 firms participated, representing sectors including asset management, insurance, corporate recovery, liquidation and insolvency.
Proceeds from the event were donated to Cayman ARK (Acts of Random Kindness), a nonprofit that supports individuals and families in need. BDO Cayman said the fundraiser reflects its ongoing efforts to contribute to the local community.
“Now in its fourth year, we couldn’t be more proud of this event,” Richard Horton, a partner at BDO Cayman, said in a statement, adding that the funds raised would help make “a real difference in our local community.”
Walkers claimed the 2026 championship title and will retain the tournament trophy until next year, when BDO said it will host the tournament again. Organisers thanked the Cayman Islands Tennis Club and raffle prize donors for supporting the event.
