Steve McIntosh is the CEO of Cayman Finance.
Originally from Scotland, Steve is proudly Caymanian with an extensive career in financial services which led to his appointment as CEO of Cayman Finance in September 2022.
Steve began his career with global accounting firm KPMG in the United Kingdom before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2001.
In 2004 he founded financial services recruitment specialist CML, later co-founding spin-offs Nova and “Connect”. In 2020 Steve founded CareerPoint.com, a tech enabled start-up offering virtual coaching for early and mid-career professionals.
Steve is a fellow chartered accountant (ICAEW), has a BA from the University of Strathclyde, and an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Lainey Egan is the Associate Director at Cayman Finance responsible for the Funds, Banking and Capital Markets sectors.
Beginning her career in 2006 with the largest financial services group in Ireland, Lainey graduated from their prestigious management training programme in 2009. Her previous roles have included investor relations, global markets, corporate architecture, multinational marketing, fund administration and directorships with a career that has spanned from banking graduate trainee to Chief Operating Officer. Lainey has excellent proficiency in offshore funds; banking and financial services; operations and business management.
Lainey liaises regularly with the heads of local business, leadership teams, industry associations and Cayman Finance members in designated industry sectors, and chairs sector specific advisory groups to determine best use of promotional strategies and budget, while providing a forum for sector wide discussions.
Lainey holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and KU Leuven, Belgium; a Master of Laws from NUI Galway, Ireland and recently graduated an MBA with Merit from Imperial College Business School, London, UK. She is also an Accredited Director, Notary Public, independent board director and dedicated non-profit volunteer.
In her spare time, Lainey is the Co-Owner and Director of the Green Tie Charitable Association which in 2023 has raised almost USD$800,000 for local charities; a Governor of the Board of the Cayman Islands Red Cross; a prior Officer of the Cayman Islands Kids Gaelic Football Club and prior Chairwoman of the Cayman Islands Ladies Gaelic Football Club; and a member of CIDA and 100 Women in Finance amongst other

Brittany is an Associate Director responsible for Business Development in the Insurance, Reinsurance and Trusts Sectors. As a passionate advocate for community engagement, Brittany’s most notable title is connecting to community as the Head of the Cayman Finance LEAD Programme.
Brittany has held various roles at a Big 4 firm in the Cayman Islands, the US and Bermuda over the past 11 years. Brittany has extensive experience in managing Fortune 500 client engagements, transformative accounting advisory services, financial statement audits, and implementing quality and risk management systems.
Brittany is actively engaged in promoting the insurance, reinsurance and trust sectors in the Cayman Islands through advocacy, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting research and analysis, and connecting with the community in a way that supports the growth and sustainability of these sectors.
Born and raised in the Cayman Islands, Brittany holds a Bachelor (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester.
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” And in response, Brittany is deeply committed to the community and actively volunteers in over 10 non-for-profit organizations in the Cayman Islands, supporting women empowerment and social services.
To name a few, Brittany is an involved member of CIIPA’s ESG Committee, 100 Women in Finance, a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor, and actively engages with high schools, local colleges, and graduate programmes as Head of the Cayman Finance LEAD programme. Brittany is also a past member of the Communications Committee for Women in Reinsurance Bermuda.

Michael is responsible for content generation for Cayman Finance’s website, newsletters and general media, as well as public relations.
Michael has more than 20 years’ experience as a financial journalist.
He is the former business editor of the Cayman Compass and former editor of offshore finance magazine Cayman Financial Review.
Michael started his career as a media analyst and corporate communications consultant in Germany, the US and the UK. Before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2008, he wrote for a British corporate finance publication and managed his own public relations business in the UK and Germany.
Michael received an MA in Political Science and International Law from the University of Bonn in Germany.

Alanna holds responsibility for Social Media at Cayman Finance and supports the team with Community Engagement and marketing projects and initiatives.
Alanna is a Social Media Specialist with five years of high-level industry experience. She is past Director of the Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA) (2020-2022) and the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP) (2018-2020).
Alanna is a past President of Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands (2020-2021). In 2022, she received “Proud of them” recognition from the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Heritage & Culture for her efforts and achievements in community service. She was later recognized as a Role Model in the Cayman Islands in the 2023 edition of Cayman Parent magazine.
Alanna is an expert at growing and nurturing online communities. She is committed to the continued growth and optimization of Cayman Finance’s social media platforms to enhance the reach of Cayman Finance content and promote Cayman Finance member firms.
Alanna is a community-minded ambivert who is deeply passionate about making the world a better place than how she found it. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Liverpool.

Jennifer Steinberg holds the many-faceted position of Member Engagement Associate at Cayman Finance.
Jennifer has extensive experience in market research, business development, product management, and marketing & communications which has been gained through numerous positions in organsations ranging from publicly-traded companies, tech startups, one of Canada’s largest single-industry associations, and Dart.
Jennifer is focused on building Cayman Finance’s member base, introducing new benefits, and ensuring members derive the most value from their memberships.
Originally from Canada, Jennifer has lived in the Cayman Islands for over 6 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Ottawa.

Milo Dack works part-time as the Data & Project Management Associate at Cayman Finance.
Before joining Cayman Finance, Milo spent several months working for the Cayman Islands Civil Service and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (UK Government) in a communications and media focused role. Whilst at University, he worked in pastoral support and has been involved in several non-profit and charitable organisations.
Milo’s role primarily involves working with internal systems to streamline communications and processes. He also assists the organisation with various projects in an advisory and support role.
Milo grew up in the Cayman Islands but went away to the UK for school and university. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in History & Politics in July 2022, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Strategic Communications remotely whilst working with Cayman Finance part-time.

Edward is an advisor for Cayman Finance, supporting its work in the Fintech and Virtual Assets sector. He is also Managing Partner of Uniting Capital, an investment firm focused on digital assets.
Edward previously led an independent M&A advisory firm supporting public companies and investment firms on executing buy-and-build strategies, as well as serving as an interim director for several funds and their portfolio companies. He has executed over 30 M&A transactions in 14 global jurisdictions including the USA, EU and the Middle East with total transaction value of over US$20 billion.
He has worked with Foresight Group, a UK-based private equity firm with circa $15bn in AUM, where he focused on the firm’s proprietary fintech innovation investments. Edward has significant experience in innovative technologies, digital assets and fintech, and founded and exited his UK-based technology business in 2012.
He has also worked in Accenture’s M&A and Private Equity team, where he supported the growth of the Fintech Innovations Lab. He has been involved in Bitcoin since 2014. Edward currently serves as an independent director for several funds and operating companies.
Originally from the United Kingdom, he currently lives with his wife in the Cayman Islands.
