Mourant litigation lawyer Jessica Vickers has been appointed co-chair of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Cayman Islands Network for a two-year term starting in January 2026, the firm said.
The Cayman Islands network of IWIRC focuses on the professional advancement of women working in insolvency and restructuring, offering networking, business development, education and mentoring opportunities locally and overseas
Vickers joined Mourant’s Cayman litigation practice in 2016. She advises clients on insolvency and restructuring matters and high-value cross-border commercial disputes, including cases involving allegations of fraud, misconduct and trusts.
Vickers will serve alongside current co-chair Neema Griffin, managing director at Teneo. “I’m delighted to be appointed co-chair of the IWIRC Cayman Islands Network,” Vickers said in a statement. “I look forward to working alongside Neema to support our members and continue to build a strong, inclusive community that supports women in our profession.”
Mourant’s head of litigation in the British Virgin Islands office, Jennifer Jenkins, is also a co-chair of the IWIRC British Virgin Islands Network, which launched in 2023.
