Hawksford names Tamara Hill COO for Cayman Islands office

Tamara Hill

Global corporate, funds and private client services provider Hawksford has appointed Tamara Hill as chief operating officer for its Cayman Islands operation.

Hill will oversee process improvements, efficiency initiatives and client service standards in Cayman while working with colleagues across Hawksford’s multi-jurisdictional network, according to a press release. The firm said the role aligns with its plan to expand in the jurisdiction as part of a wider growth strategy.

Hawksford entered the Cayman market last year through its acquisition of Paradigm Governance Partners. From its Cayman office, the group provides fiduciary and related services to investment fund managers, including directorships, distressed fund and value-recovery work, outsourced accounting, family office support, anti-money-laundering and economic-substance services.

Hill has more than 20 years’ experience in international financial services, with expertise in operations, governance and business strategy. She has led teams focused on regulatory compliance and the formation and administration of alternative funds and private wealth vehicles, and has served on the boards of special purpose vehicles. She most recently held a client service director post at another global provider. She holds an MBA and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

“Hawksford continues to pursue ambitious growth across its global network and service lines, with our Cayman team playing a key role in that strategy,” said Geoff Ruddick, managing director and country head for the Cayman Islands at Hawksford. He said Hill’s experience in “implementing best-in-class operational systems and frameworks” will support the firm’s objectives.

Hill said she looks forward to collaborating with colleagues to “build on Hawksford’s momentum” and “champion a culture of innovation” in the jurisdiction.

Hawksford employs more than 650 people across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas, supporting clients in more than 115 countries.
