Vasil Blaze
Cayman Islands–based Rawlinson & Hunter has appointed Vasil Blaze as director of corporate services at R&H Trust & Corporate, where he will co-lead the unit with Yvonne Plamondon, the firm said.
Blaze brings more than a decade of experience in legal entity management, corporate compliance and subsidiary governance. He previously worked for a Big Four firm in the UK and most recently oversaw global subsidiary governance and managed services for FTSE 100 and S&P 500 clients, according to the announcement.
In the new role, Blaze will help direct services that include incorporations, registered office facilities and regulatory compliance support, and will work with clients on governance structures and complex entity frameworks, the firm said.
“Vasil brings a wealth of experience in entity management and a strong grasp of corporate structures,” Senior Partner Alan Milgate said, adding that Blaze and Plamondon as co-heads position the firm to expand its corporate services platform.
R&H Trust & Corporate operates as The R & H Trust Co. Ltd., a licensed trust service provider owned and operated by Rawlinson & Hunter’s Cayman Islands office. The local practice has four partners and more than 80 staff.
