Collas Crill Launches Summer Internship Programme in Cayman

Collas Crill has launched a summer internship programme in Cayman to offer school students an insight into working life at a law firm.

The annual, paid internship programme is open to Caymanian students aged 17 and over. The interns work their way through each department on a rotational basis over a four-week period, guided closely by lawyers and business services professionals.

During this time, they gain exposure to a range of different legal practice areas, understand the role of business services like marketing and finance, contribute to the overall culture of Collas Crill and participate fully in all work and social aspects. They can also start start building their professional network with a view to their future career development.

This summer the firm welcomed Demae Lee and Paige Thomas who attend Cayman International School and Cayman Prep and High School respectively.

Partner Gina Berry said: ‘The summer internship programme has given our inaugural recipients a truly ‘hands-on’ perspective of all departments in our firm. It has also given Collas Crill the opportunity to mentor and foster relationships with incredibly bright young minds who will hopefully consider future employment opportunities with us – we have such amazing Caymanian talent.

‘I am proud to support this special programme and am sure it will go from strength to strength.’

If you or a family member is interested in applying for the 2023 programme, please email recruitment@collascrill.com.
