The Directors Education and Accreditation Program (DEAP) is aimed at providing further education to experienced directors in the field of corporate governance. The program will be run in conjunction with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (“CGIC”) (formerly Institute of Chartered Secretaries Canada), with the instructors presenting in person here in the Cayman Islands.

The course will run from the 1 – 4 of December, 9 am to 4 pm each day and is located at Hotel Indigo.

The program will consist of presentations on key industry topics by local Cayman Islands presenters and will be open to the wider CIDA membership.

The sessions are currently scheduled as follows:

1 December – Governance
2 December – Financial Disclosure and Reporting
3 December – Strategic Planning and Risk Management
4 December – Cayman Islands topics half-day (finishes at 2 pm)

Please note there is limited availability and it will be offered to CIDA Members on a first to register and pay basis. Non-CIDA members will also be offered spaces on the course depending on demand.
