Cayman Finance is a is a private sector not for profit organisation. Our mission is to protect, promote, develop and grow the Cayman Islands financial  services industry through cooperation and engagement with domestic and international political  leaders, regulators, organisations and media; to promote the integrity and transparency of the  Industry by legislative and regulatory enactment and to encourage the sustainable growth of the  Industry through excellence, innovation and balance.

Cayman Finance represents first-rate service providers within investment funds and asset management, banking, insurance, reinsurance, capital markets, and trusts sectors and world-class fiduciary, legal, and accounting service providers. Additional, Cayman Finance represents 16 industry associations.

How we are funded

Cayman Finance is funded primarily through the membership of firms within the Cayman Islands financial services industry. We also receive some support from the Cayman Islands Government as part of our Memorandum of Understanding and working partnership with the Government.

The Management Team

Jude Scott

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER BOARD MEMBER

Jude Scott is a former Partner of Ernst & Young and former Global CEO of Maples and Calder. He retired as an Audit Partner in 2008 after spending over 23 years with Ernst & Young where he specialised in the audits of investment funds, banks and insurance companies. As the Global Chief Executive Officer of Maples and Calder, he took an active role in the strategic growth and development of the firm.

Jude is well respected in the local community and internationally, having served on various Cayman Islands Government and private sector committees, including the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants, the Cayman Islands Financial Services Council, the Education Council, the Insolvency Rules Committee and the Stock Exchange.

 

Tamika Hue

OPERATIONS coordinator

Tamika Hue has worked in the Cayman Islands financial services industry since 1993, including retail banking with Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of America Offshore, and American Express Trust. She has more than a decade of experience as a Corporate Administrator at Ogier, Appleby, and HSM. Tamika previously served as the Executive PA to the CEO of CIBC Private Wealth in the Cayman Islands. She joined Cayman Finance in 2017. As Operations Coordinator, Tamika overseas Cayman Finance membership matters, the coordination of industry consultations, and is the engine that keeps the Cayman Finance office running. 

Ben Meade

COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Ben brings a wealth of media and communication experience to Cayman Finance, having worked in the industry for two decades, including as a journalist at the BBC World Service and the Caribbean Media Corporation. He is a former News Director at Cayman 27 television. Ben specialises in strategic communication and joined Cayman Finance in 2019.  As Communication and Public Relations Manager, Ben leads the production Cayman Finance’s publications and events, manages the organisation’s digital presence, coordinates Cayman Finance’s participation in international consultations and is the primary contact for media and public speaking requests
