Alexandra Woodcock

Appleby Cayman has appointed Alexandra Woodcock as a partner in its Corporate and Finance practice, adding an experienced finance lawyer with a focus on fund finance and cross-border transactions.

Woodcock advises financial institutions, private fund sponsors and corporate clients on financing transactions and restructurings. Her practice includes banking and fund finance matters, as well as cross-border financings and restructurings in the offshore market.

Cayman Office Managing Partner Simon Raftopoulos said the appointment strengthens the firm’s Corporate and Finance practice.

“We are delighted to welcome Alexandra to Appleby,” Raftopoulos said. “Her wealth of experience across banking, fund finance and cross-border transactions further solidifies our Corporate and Finance offering.”

Woodcock said Appleby’s global reach and plans for its Corporate and Finance practice were factors in her decision to join the firm.

“I am excited to join a team that is shaping some of the industry’s most significant mandates and helping clients navigate an increasingly dynamic market,” she said.
