Patrice Boothe
Collas Crill Corporate Services has appointed Patrice Boothe to its board, expanding the firm’s leadership as it broadens its governance and directorship offerings in the Cayman Islands.
Boothe joined the company last year as head of corporate services in Cayman and brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate administration, financial management and governance, according to the company. The appointment comes as Collas Crill Corporate Services, known as CCCS, increases its focus on providing directorship services for regulated and unregulated entities and investment funds.
The company said Boothe recently completed the Director’s Accreditation Program and received the Accredited Director designation from The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, allowing CCCS to expand its directorship services.
In a statement, Boothe said independent directors play an important role in governance and regulatory compliance for Cayman-based funds and companies. She said locally based directors can help businesses meet economic substance requirements while supporting operational oversight and administration.
Katie Bonfrer, group managing director of Collas Crill Trust and Corporate Services, described the appointment as part of a broader period of growth and restructuring within the business. Bonfrer said Boothe’s experience in corporate services and leadership would support the company’s continued development.
Before joining CCCS, Boothe worked at HSM Corporate Services, where she managed corporate administration teams and oversaw client onboarding, due diligence and regulatory compliance functions. She also serves on a number of boards involving fund structures, resident companies and special purpose vehicles.
