Cayman Captive Forum sells out again ahead of December conference

Michael Wild, IMAC Forum Committee chair

The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman says its 2025 Cayman Captive Forum has sold out ahead of the three-day conference scheduled for Dec. 2-4 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

The world’s largest captive insurance forum is expected to draw captive owners, service providers and industry specialists from around the globe. Organisers say nearly 300 first-time attendees are registered.

“This sold-out event underscores not only the strength of Cayman’s captive industry, but also the collaborative spirit and global reach of this community,” IMAC Forum Committee Chair Michael Wild said in a statement, adding that organisers look forward to “another engaging and inspiring year.”

This year’s programme will combine technical sessions with networking and social events, including a welcome reception, a beach reception on Seven Mile Beach and the annual golf tournament. An expanded pickleball tournament has also been added, along with a revamped Wednesday evening event at Camana Bay aimed at creating additional networking opportunities for delegates.

Keynote speakers include Chris Lemons, a deep-sea saturation diver featured in the Netflix documentary “Last Breath,” and Rashmi Airan, an ethics and leadership speaker whose personal story focuses on accountability and integrity in business, IMAC said.

IMAC also thanked sponsors, including platinum sponsor KPMG, along with speakers and delegates for their continued support, noting that the forum remains one of the most anticipated events on the global captive insurance calendar, especially for the healthcare, group captive, catastrophe bond and international reinsurance sectors.
