Cayman Captive Forum expands programme for 2026

The Cayman Captive Forum will expand its programme this year with the addition of a third concurrent track as organisers prepare for the three-day insurance industry event in December. The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) has announced the agenda for the 2026 forum, which will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, from 1-3 December.

The event will feature keynote addresses, technical sessions and panel discussions covering developments in captive insurance, regulation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and reinsurance. Michael Wild, Chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee, said the additional track on Wednesday would give delegates access to a broader range of sessions.

“We are proud to present another powerful agenda that reflects the evolution of the global captive insurance industry,” he said.

“This year, we have expanded Wednesday’s programme with the introduction of a third concurrent track, providing delegates with even greater scope and access to a broader range of content-rich sessions.”

The programme includes an insurance market update from Daniel Aronson of Marsh, a session on AI transformation led by Owen Lewis of KPMG Ireland and a regulatory update from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. Other sessions will examine emerging opportunities beyond traditional captive structures, the development of five-year captive strategic plans, regulatory approval for reinsurance innovation and legislative developments affecting healthcare captives.

The forum will feature two keynote speakers. Chris Norton, an author and high-performance coach, will deliver the opening keynote, while cybersecurity expert and former FBI counterintelligence operative Eric O’Neill will give a second keynote address.

Speakers across the programme will also include representatives from CICA, SRS, Honigman, Artex Risk Solutions, Community Insurance Group SPC, WTW, Commencement Re and KPMG. For the full agenda, click here.

Registration remains open, offering attendees access to world-class expertise and networking opportunities at the largest captive insurance event in the world. To learn more or to register, visit the Forum website here.
