The Consensus Miami conference is expected to bring about 20,000 attendees to the city next month, with organizers announcing a slate of high-profile speakers and expanded programming focused on digital assets, blockchain and artificial intelligence.
The event, organised by CoinDesk, will feature speakers including Eric Trump, Michael Saylor, Anatoly Yakovenko and Kevin O’Leary, alongside more than 500 participants from across the crypto and financial sectors, according to the organisers.
The long-running industry gathering is returning to the United States amid what organisers say is growing institutional involvement in digital assets. Representatives from more than 200 Fortune 500 companies and attendees from over 100 countries are expected to participate.
The conference will include six stages, four themed summits and more than 200 sessions covering topics such as stablecoins, tokenization and regulation. Additional programming includes workshops, a hackathon, a startup pitch competition and a live trading event.
Organisers said the event coincides with a busy week in Miami, including the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and a PGA Tour event, and will feature a series of affiliated networking and social events across the city.
Major sponsors and partners include companies from both the crypto sector and traditional finance, reflecting increased crossover between the industries, the organisers said.
