West, chief executive officer, Meals on Wheels; and Dorothy Scott, Walkers Professional Services managing director.

Employees at Walkers’ Cayman Islands office raised funds for four local charities through the firm’s annual workplace giving program, the legal and professional services firm said.

Staff contributed a portion of their salaries throughout 2025 under a yearlong pledge, with donations distributed in early 2026 to organisations selected by employee vote. The beneficiaries are the Alex Panton Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Jasmine and Acts of Random Kindness.

The firm marked the donations at its annual Coffee + Conversations event, which brought employees together with representatives from the selected charities.

Rob Jackson, managing partner of the Cayman Islands office, said supporting community organisations is a core part of the firm’s approach. “Through this year’s workplace giving programme, our team have continued to show their commitment to uplifting organisations that make a real difference,” Jackson said.

Charity representatives said the funding would help sustain local services. The Alex Panton Foundation said the support would aid its mental health work for children and young adults, while Jasmine said the funding would help maintain free care for an average of 80 patients each month. Acts of Random Kindness said the donation would support programmes serving vulnerable children and families in Grand Cayman.
