Strategic Wealth Preservation marks 10 years with anniversary gala at the National Gallery

Strategic Wealth Preservation (SWP), the Cayman Islands-based precious metals dealer and storage provider, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with an evening gala, Metals & Moonlight, held at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands on 7 Nov 2025.

The event brought together SWP’s clients, partners and friends to mark a decade of growth for the company and to recognise the Cayman Islands’ role as a trusted jurisdiction for precious metals custody and wealth preservation. It also highlighted the increasingly international nature of SWP’s relationships, with more than 40 guests flying in from overseas to attend. Their presence reflected not only an appreciation for what SWP has achieved over the past decade but also a shared anticipation for what lies ahead in a rapidly evolving global precious metals landscape, SWP said in a press release.

Hosted in the gallery’s elegant setting, Metals & Moonlight combined formal anniversary remarks with a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. Guests enjoyed an evening of connection and conversation as SWP reflected on its first ten years in operation and shared its vision for continued growth, strengthened partnerships, and broader market engagement in the years to come.

Warm video messages were sent from The Royal Mint, Loomis International, the London Bullion Market Association, and others who were unable to attend in person – highlighting SWP’s growing international footprint and the company’s respected position within the global precious metals industry.

A key moment in the evening was the announcement of SWP’s new CI $10,000 scholarship, created to support Caymanian students pursuing further education in environmental or marine science. The scholarship is part of SWP’s ongoing commitment to the local community. It complements other initiatives the company supports, including the Cayman Islands Rugby Referee Society, the CI Humane Society and the Turtle Release Programme.

“We are incredibly proud to have reached this 10-year milestone here in the Cayman Islands,” said Mark Yaxley, CEO of Strategic Wealth Preservation. “Metals & Moonlight was our way of saying thank you to the clients, partners, and colleagues who have supported us over the years, and of reaffirming our long-term commitment to this jurisdiction and community. We have built a strong foundation, and the opportunities ahead – both here and globally – are greater than ever.”

SWP said the company will continue to focus on delivering secure, segregated precious metals storage, acquisition and liquidation services, and responsive support to its expanding client base. “With deep roots in the Cayman Islands and a growing international network, SWP enters the next chapter of its journey with a clear purpose: to provide investors around the world with trusted access to physical precious metals and the confidence that comes from true ownership,” the company added.
