
Tom McLaughlin
Mourant has appointed Tom McLaughlin as partner. He joins the firm from Dentons New Zealand where he was a partner in the Banking and Financial Markets team. Prior to that, McLaughlin was a member of another leading offshore professional services firm’s multi-disciplinary Private Equity team, and also worked in Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s New York office.
McLaughlin has significant experience advising on a wide range of corporate matters, including IPOs, secondary offerings, investment fund launches and downstream transactions, de-SPAC business combinations, platform roll-ups, private and public company M&A transactions, early-stage capital raisings, debt issues, corporate governance matters, joint venture arrangements, shareholder matters and corporate restructurings, Mourant said in a press release.
