Cayman Finance’s second member event in 2024 will feature Irish economist, author and podcaster David McWilliams on 2 May at The Westin Grand Cayman. Under the title “The World at a Cross Roads” McWilliams will share his perspectives on the critical juncture the world is facing today.
How do we manage the new geopolitical and economic environment and the problems it creates?
McWilliams is host of The David McWilliams Podcast, which aims to make economics uncomplicated and accessible, and the founder of the world’s only economics and stand-up comedy festival, “Kilkenomics“.
He has written five bestsellers, including The Pope’s Children: Ireland’s New Elite, The Good Room, Follow the Money, The Generation Game and Renaissance Nation: How the Pope’s Children Rewrote the Rules for Ireland.
He also writes a weekly column for The Irish Times and contributes regularly to The Financial Times.
The member event will take place on 2 May at The Westin Grand Cayman in the Governor’s Ballroom from 5pm to 8pm and in addition to the presentation includes a speaker Q&A and networking.
