Simultaneously, Tristanna underwent and completed her degree in Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Liverpool in 2016 and, in 2019, she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University.

Tristanna was awarded the O.L. Panton Memorial Prize for best performance over the Professional Practice Course and the Attorney General’s Trophy for best performance in the Qualifying Examination.

Ogier in Cayman’s Articled Clerk programme provides comprehensive practical training in the main areas of legal work undertaken by the firm.  Articled Clerks work alongside partners and associates to gain exposure to top-tier international work, develop their expertise across Ogier’s main service lines and work on cases and transactions on a rotational basis. The programme is open to Caymanians or those holding a dispensation from the Cayman Attorney General.

James Bergstrom said: “Tristanna has an excellent academic background and we are delighted to welcome her the firm as she completes her articles with us. Ogier is passionate about nurturing local talent, and our Articled Clerk programme has provided the springboard for many Caymanians’ legal careers.”

Recent graduates from the scheme include Samantha Conolly, who has joined the firm’s Private Wealth team as an associate, and Kayla Lewis, who has joined the Investment Funds team as an associate.
