Moore Cayman partner named ACCA’s Caribbean Member Advocate of the Year

Candice Czeremuszkin, Partner at Moore Cayman and MHA MacIntyre Hudson (UK) has been named ACCA’s Caribbean Member Advocate of the Year 2020.

The ACCA Advocacy Awards is a great opportunity for the global accounting body to recognise the contribution of its members are making to the body’s advocacy programmes and focuses around;

  • How they have actively inspired the next generation of accounting and finance professionals by promoting ACCA and / or the profession in schools, colleges and universities
  • How they have actively supported students and fellow members to grow in their careers
  • How they have actively helped to build ACCA’s brand and reputation within their market
  • How they have contributed to ACCA in terms of thought leadership or through enabling ACCA to be seen as shaping the profession within their market

Candice Czeremuszkin is a Licensed Audit Practitioner specialising in financial service audits. Candice and responsible for signing and leading audit engagement teams that serve a growing portfolio of mutual funds and private equity funds with a diverse range of investments and strategies, and under various accounting frameworks and relevant local legal and regulatory requirements.

Currently a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA), and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. Candice also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh Business School. Candice is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s – Moore Stephens Executive Leadership Programme.

Candice is also currently Chair of the ACCA Cayman Islands Chapter, a member of Cayman Finance’s Public Awareness Committee, CIIPA’s International Relations Committee, CIIPA’s Careers & Mentoring Committee and CIIPA’s Education Committee, Treasurer of Business and Professional Women’s Club of the Cayman Islands, Member of the Young Business and Professional Women’s Club of the Cayman Islands, Member of Cayman Music School, Performing Arts Committee and ACCA Advocate.

Candice is currently pursuing her Post Graduate Certificate in Business Research Methods and ATCL in Performance from Trinity College London.
