Conyers is pleased to announce that its newest attorneys, Kiah Estwick and Sean-Anna Thompson have been admitted as attorneys-at-law in the Cayman Islands, following completion of their Article Clerkship in the Cayman Office.
As a result of the COVID-19 lockdown Kiah was sworn in virtually before Justice Williams while Sean-Anna was sworn in in-person by Justice McMillan. Many friends, family, and colleagues were in attendance at both ceremonies.
Both Kiah and Sean-Anna joined Conyers’ Articled Clerkship programme in October 2018, an 18-month training programme which supports and develops local talent in the Cayman Islands legal industry.
Prior to joining Conyers for their clerkships, both Kiah and Sean-Anna were recipients of the Conyers Legal Education award and interned with the firm.
Kiah has joined Conyer’s corporate practice as an Associate and comes to Conyers with a Master of Science in Law, Business and Management and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law (London Moorgate). Kiah also has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with Finance from the University of Brighton and was an Analyst in the Investment and Securities Division at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) before deciding to pursue a career in law.
Kiah’s clerkship saw her undertaking rotations across Conyers various practice areas including Insurance & Regulatory, General Corporate, Funds, Litigation and Trusts & Private Client. Additionally, Kiah undertook a secondment with Serle Court Chambers in London.

Sean Anna has joined Conyers’ litigation and restructuring practice as an Attorney and comes to Conyers with a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Westminster.
Sean-Anna’s clerkship saw her undertaking rotations across Conyers various practice areas including Insurance & Regulatory, General Corporate, Funds, Litigation and Trusts & Private client to provide her with a good grounding in both corporate law and litigation.
Additionally, Sean-Anna undertook a secondment with Serle Court Chambers in London where she received exposure to across the spectrum of commercial and chancery work which solidified her decision to join the litigation team.
