Cayman Finance supports 100 Women in Finance

The Cayman Finance team, including Samantha Widmer, Jennifer Steinberg and Danielle Hennings, together with representatives from member firms attended the 100 Women in Finance (100WF) 11th Annual Gala at the Kimpton Seafire Resort on 7 Feb, 2025.

The gala’s beneficiary, the 100WF Foundation, supports global and local programmes that contribute to its vision of filling 30 percent of senior investment roles and executive committee positions with women by 2040 in the Cayman Islands.

100WF Foundation’s mission aligns with Cayman Finance’s core goal of showing pathways into industry, and providing training and employment opportunities for Caymanians.

The proceeds from the event will help fund scholarships and programmes aimed at empowering Caymanian women to succeed in the finance sector and supporting local talent and diversity within the Cayman Islands.

Kellan Brown, COO of 100WF, said: “At 100 WF, we are committed to supporting initiatives that advance gender equity in finance. Visiting Cayman for the first time truly highlighted the importance of these efforts to the local community. Though small in size, Cayman has the heart of a lion, and its dedication to these causes is both inspiring and impactful. I am incredibly grateful for the support of Cayman Finance, along with other local organisations, whose contributions are vital in driving progress within the industry.”
