Record-breaking attendance expected at the 2024 Cayman Captive Forum

The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) announced that the Cayman Captive Forum 2024, the world’s largest captive forum taking place from December 3-5 at The Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman, is officially sold out.

This year marks a milestone for the forum with a record number of delegate registrations, including 302 first-time attendees, highlighting the growing global interest in Cayman’s captive insurance industry. The event will also debut a pickleball tournament, adding an exciting new dimension to the networking opportunities, the association said in a press release.

“We’re proud to host an event of this scale, and very excited to welcome a record-breaking number of participants,” said Alanna Trundle, chair of the Cayman Captive Forum Committee. “This overwhelming interest reaffirms Cayman’s prominence as a leading domicile for captives, and shows continued innovation within our industry.”

While on-site registration is not available as the event is sold out, registered attendees can look forward to a packed agenda that includes keynote speakers Anthony Robles, an NCAA wrestling champion who will talk about his journey of resilience, and Jon Engstrom, a cybersecurity expert who will discuss emerging cyber threats.

IMAC extends its gratitude to sponsors, speakers, and participants for contributing to what promises to be a standout event.
