Campbells’ attorney admitted to Bar

Tyanna Jan

Campbells announced that Tyanna Jan was recently admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands.

She will be working as an associate in the Corporate Department and will specialise in property matters.

Jan joined Campbells in August 2019 as a paralegal in the shipping department but also provided support to the property team. She commenced her articles of clerkship with the firm in August 2022.

“We are pleased that Tyanna has been called to the Cayman Bar and are proud of her accomplishments to date. She is a hardworking, experienced individual and an asset to the firm,” said Managing Partner, Alan Craig. “We look forward to seeing Tyanna continue to develop her legal career in the coming years.”

Jan is a graduate of the University of Kent where she was awarded an LLB with Honours. She also gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from Truman Bodden Law School/Oxford Brookes University in 2022.

Jan is also an active member of the football community and Elite Sports Club. She recently represented the Cayman Islands Senior National Women’s Football Team in international competition.

“I am delighted to take this next step with Campbells’ property team and look forward to continuing to develop professionally throughout my legal career,” Jan said.

The firm said it is proud to support Caymanians pursuing the study and practice of law and offers a comprehensive articled clerk training programme.

Campbells’ 18-month training programme consists of monitored rotations between different departments and ensures recipients receive active mentorship and a wide breadth of experience across all departments.
