Harneys Announces Firmwide Promotions to Partner and Counsel, Alongside Leadership Changes in January 2023.

Four lawyers from across the Harneys offices have been promoted to partner:

Marcia McFarlane (Litigation & Insolvency | BVI), Gráinne King (Litigation & Insolvency | Cayman), Sonia Hamshaw (Corporate | Cyprus), and Jayesh Chatlani (Litigation & Restructuring | Singapore).

Harneys has also promoted six senior associates to counsel:

Victoria Lissack (Litigation & Insolvency | BVI), Anya Allen (Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring | Cayman), Marc Piano (Investment Funds, Corporate, and Banking & Finance | Cayman), Elina Mantrali (Regulatory & Tax | Cyprus), Strachan Gray (Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring | Hong Kong), and Henno Boshoff (Private Wealth & Trust | Singapore).

The start of the new year will also see significant leadership changes. Following a transition period, William Peake will begin his role as Global Managing Partner, and Ross Munro will return to his previous role as CEO and Chair of Harneys Fiduciary.

The appointments of Gráinne King to partner, and Anya Allen and Marc Piano to counsel are pending approval by Cayman Islands Immigration authorities.
