Feedback for the team in the Guide praised their technical expertise, commerciality and relationship management, with one client saying: “Trusts is one of those areas where you tend to get people that are either very technical or very commercial. It is not that often that you find people who can do both… and they were excellent at that.”

Another source described members of the team as “incredibly personable,” explaining that “they are very keen to walk matters through in a practical, thorough and pragmatic way.”

Notable practitioner Anthony Partridge leads the private client team and handles non-contentious matters for wealthy individuals and professional trustees. Anthony is noted for his expert trusts knowledge and also has extensive experience advising on foundations, estate planning and probate. A US trusts and estates attorney reported that Anthony “digs for detail and helps to find good creative solutions,” with another source saying that “Anthony Partridge is truly excellent.”

Top-tier practitioner Rachael Reynolds is praised for her expertise in complex, cross-border trusts litigation. A source says: “She is the doyenne of the Cayman trusts world. Her reputation speaks for itself. She is globally regarded as one of the very best trust litigators. She is very driven and a ferocious litigator.”

Rachael Reynolds said: “I’m delighted to see this recognition for the Cayman Trusts Advisory Group, which really demonstrates our strength in depth across our contentious and non-contentious offering. As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we never lose sight of the fact that our clients are looking for first-class legal advice that’s also commercial, and for a human relationship with their advisers.”
