Cayman Finance has three classes of members, each with differing voting rights, benefits and payment obligations. The three designations are: Ordinary, Associate and Honourary.
An individual may only be an Ordinary Member or an Associate Member if that individual operates as a firm or entity, such a sole trader, and otherwise qualifies according to conditions in Cayman Finance’s Amended and Restated Memorandum of Association. An individual may not be an Honorary Member.
Professional firms, however constituted, established under the laws of, or carrying on their activities within, the Islands, including legal and accountancy firms; Entities licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority; and related financial-services entities established under the laws of, or carrying on their activities within, the Cayman Islands.
